Fancy venturing out of Sydney for a weekend escape? Love Hamptons design?

At Ayre Real Estate, being in property means we appreciate a great bit of real estate and great interior design. The location, the décor and the vibe of a beautiful hotel are what sets the scene for an unforgettable experience and a space to create memories. The Hamptons design has long been synonymous with chic coastal holidays and these 3 stunning boutique hotels are no exception from the rule. Being less than 3 hours from Sydney city, they are ones to add to the hit list!

01. The Boathouse Patonga

The once sleepy Central Coast town of Patonga is now home to one of The Boathouse Group’s most recent developments. What started as a waterfront restaurant and beer garden, The Boathouse have now expanded to include 3 apartments upstairs as well as a 4-bedroom cottage alongside the property. The setting is Hamptons beachside chic, think white plantation shutters, shells galore and navy and white stripes. All the accommodation faces out to Patonga beach and enjoy direct views of the calm sea, some are self-contained including kitchen and laundry facilities which is perfect for families or longer stays. The town itself doesn’t boast an abundance of activities but you won’t want to leave your room anyway! And why would you when you can have a cocktail and prawn pasta delivered straight to your door to be enjoyed on your private balcony with uninterrupted ocean views?

02. Bannisters Mollymook

When you think Hamptons accommodation you can’t go past the Bannisters group and their Mollymook properties certainly meet the brief. Consisting of two properties, Bannisters ‘By the Sea’ and Bannisters ‘Pavilion’, caters for all needs from luxury couples’ getaways to family adventures. ‘By the sea’ is geared more towards couples seeking solace and relaxation, think ocean breezes from the Collette Dinnigan designed penthouse balconies, 5-star dining at Rick Stein’s restaurant and luxe spa experiences. The ‘Pavilion’ is more family driven boasting proximity to Mollymook beach, a stunning bush setting and a funky rooftop pool and restaurant. Even your pooch can appreciate the crisp white linen and Australiana interiors in their pet friendly rooms. The properties are operated as one and guests can come and go from each enjoying all the facilities on the hotel shuttle. Mollymook is about 3 hours drive south of Sydney.

03. The Anchorage Port Stephens

Set in Corlette, a beachside suburb of Port Stephens less than 10 minutes drive from the main town of Nelson Bay, The Anchorage Hotel and Spa is a destination in itself. This luxurious waterfront accommodation feels a bit like an exclusive yacht club and boasts several room types to suit all tastes and requirements from suites to villas. The hotel features two restaurants including a casual family friendly option and a fine dining option plus a cocktail bar. One of the major highlights is the in-house spa, Spa Lucca. You won’t regret booking one of their ‘voyages’, a head-to-toe curated treatment package that will have you feeling relaxed for days. Corlette beach is a beautiful stretch of quiet beachfront just steps from the hotel and if you are more of a pool lover you will also have access to two outdoor pools (one adults only) both overlooking the glistening marina.
